Connector Knots

Hey ya'll, got a question...
If you've ever fished with braided line and tried to connect flourocarbon to it, what knot did you use?
I've used the double uni with some success, but I can't use it on my flipping rod. It takes some pressure, but the initial pressure from my hookset cracks the knot right away! The double uni works well for me when I'm using a spinning rod for lighter, finesse fishing. It also works well when connecting mono to flouro or vice versa.

Here's a new one I found in a saltwater mag while down in Florida. Haven't gotten the chance to use it yet, but I'm excited to try it!

Most anglers go onto a lake and see what everyone else is doing, not what they're not doing.
Work is for those who can't catch fish!

we had a thread a while back on different knots for connecting heavy line to lighter line. I forgot where it was, but try out the albright knot when you have a chance.

Here's a link to show ya how to tie it.

I know this is the knot that alex and I both use for backing and other uses. I've never really tried using floro with braid on a baitcaster.

I'm thinking because there's not enough stretch in both the lines, that's why you're breaking off on the hook sets. have you tried mono with the braid? or a co-polymer in substitute of the floro

A nail knot wirks well. I personally like using a #14 or #16 barrel swivel in black anodized. Prevents any line twists and is super strong
