"Titty Brimmers"

A group of us that regularly fish the Fox Chain once in a while get to catch these giants we call "Titty Brimmers". They are bluegills that are long and wide, eating more than they should in one sitting! This is an example of a "Titty Brimmer".

Now typically I'll throw these "Titty Brimmers" back, hoping someday they'll grow into 10"ers. I just can't stand to look into their big, brown eyes! Gotta keep one for a photo op though!

One a side note, I got my pops out before the storm last week for a couple hours and did pretty good. I know guys on all the lakes were catching fish of all species about as good as it can get...

Most anglers go onto a lake and see what everyone else is doing, not what they're not doing.
Work is for those who can't catch fish!

They look so delicious. I need to restock my freezer. Last 2 days sucked. Good job on those slabs.

Thanks!

I did try the new auger, works great! Runs better than mine and it's the same exact model. It came with a 6" lazer, which the blades aren't too bad of shape, and a 10" chipper. The 10" has a dent on one part of the auger bit, and needs a new blade. It cut, but took forever! I'll probably fix mine up and sell it along with the 10".
