Fished out there yesterday evening. Took my good buddy out for a bit to get some pannies. Caught our bait (small fatheads) with our net by the launch and headed out. Fished a nice drop off at the edge of the weeds in 15-17' and caught only small bluegills and small perch. Used small swedish pimples, ice jigs, and small jigheads w/ gulp leeches. Played with them for longer than we should've. Ended up moving over 25' and found a little better size, but not enough of them to keep for a meal. Started fishin for bass on a drop that goes from 10'-25' in a matter of 20' horizontal distance, your talkin a good 60' angle! Caught a bass almost every cast, too bad they were all less than 12"! Ended up gettin maybe 40 or 50 between the both of us, so it was still fun. Mostly bitin small worms on jigheads and pop r's. Just gotta figure out those bigger fish out there! It's drivin me nutty! Caught two this year around 5lbs. but they were the only keepers i've gotten....
