Ok. So there are many of you guys whom are sooooo secretive about your summer patterns. This Board is only Fox Chain guys....so why not share some patterns. No....not your secret spot at the Beaver Dam with the Dead Beaver! Just patterns

Nothing beats throwing down the deep weedline along side Kvachek! Especially when he is HOT!

Doesn't seem to be on this summer on the chain! and you guys are too chicken to share information....so I will.
Kvachek is going to get hot sooner or later! He is so focused on that bite...he is going to weigh it big very soon!!!
I've spent 3 hours now on the most popular weedline spots on Channel and Catherine  in 8 to 15' of water...and can't get bit by anything but a Muskie! Fished worms, senkos, jigs....and can't get the bites like in previous years.

Pre fishing on the chain is a must. The guys that can spend a lot of time on the water do well. The guys, like Joe K. know sooner or later, his spot will produce. I have logged, areas , times, weather, conditions, baits, moons, release areas, and have never found a real ongoing pattern of any kind. Secrets? If someone had a good secret, its only good for that one day. Next week it will change. So far the guys that chase release fish seem to do the best. Pay attention to the guys that normally do well. When no tournaments are held the weekend before, they always have a tough time. The only exceptions are the guys that are out there fishing day after day. As far as I'm concerned, they deserve to win. "Practice makes perfect". Wish I had more time. My log says, most big fish are on a frog. Look for the bigger fish brought in to be very dark in color. My one secret that I will share is that I head for a creek when it looks like a storm is rolling in and start chucking a buzz bait until foam rises from the water.

Love it! Great comments Jimbo. I opened this poll back up because I received 12 more emails telling me the poll closed and summer isn't over :) .
I also have kept a log for 5 years. Recently I had stopped because it was getting redundant. I believe a true log/s can be worth $$$$ so keep that info!
Release fish.....you mentioned once before, and I found it interesting. Now even more interesting. You believe there are guys whom are fishing release fish regularly as a pattern? Are they following the Weekend Tournement release boats? Or finding out where they are released, then fishing them? I specifically know of a few guys whom caught and culled a few limits in two separate incidents this year....and they were fishing Sunday release fish on Wednesday....but those were the only couple.
We did well the past few weekends.....on Frogs. Our two limits came 80% on the topwater bite.
Kvachek cashed a check! Watch out ....here he comes :-)

The big question before we left to go fish was, where did they let the fish go on Sunday? Looks like chasing release fish should be on the pole. I would bet 65% of the team and another 5% chasing those guys. That leaves 30%, which I am part of, lost, wanting to find new water, playing it safe and some going where it was won the week before. Some of this 30% found fish while pre-fishing, those are the guys we all look at and say " where the hell are they going"? Tommy told me he caught all his fish last night under the bones of a dead beaver. Now thats a pattern I would have never tried. Good job on that 2nd place Tommy!! I don't think that needs to be on the pole.

This whole fishing the release fish though suprises me...but the more I think about it....the more I'm starting to agree that...that does in fact happen. How do they know where they are released? Do they follow the BBB and AC boats?
Personally, I did fish last Sunday...and did very well catching my limit in all different locations (took 4th in BBB) ...we didn't catch two fish anywhere together. But...stupid me...I didn't ask where the fish were released.
This past Wednesday...the fish were't caught under that Damn Beaver :) although I wonder if he's still there? We did catch 1 on a spinnerbait, 1 on a frog, and 4 others on plastic Power Worms....4 of the fish were on the same point! We saw some stripers hitting the surface....and threw in there....usually we get stripers...but this time we did get 4 bass in just 4 minutes. Then they all disapeared after that!
The winning bag of over 17lbs was incredible!!!! Not sure where he caught them....but I know he was north.

at times the deep water weed line bite is the key over any other pattern by far! everyone knows that it could be a hit or miss as is any pattern on the Chain. but when its on, nothing can beat it
