Hey i got out last night (6-19-08)...Hit some small ponds in the suburbs of Palatine...

Fish were active... i think there was some kinda bug hatch too....water was really warm...way warmer then what i am used to in lake michigan at this time of year.

caught about 14 LMs mostly dinks...all my fish came white booyah buzzbait.

girlfriend got a couple too...she was fishing a 3 inch white and tan power grub.

any time dude, any time....these spots are small tho. 1-3 acres max ...easy fishin!
