cancelled june 14th big bucks fox chain

have just been informed this weekend's big bucks fox chain has been cancelled stand by for a new date.

I just read on Big Bucks forum that they plan on rescheduling the tournament on 7/13. We already have a Bigs Bucks on 7/12 and an Anglers choice on 7/13. We already can't get enough boats at the tournaments without having 2 on the same day. Not to mention making the classics.

why do they ensist on booking tournamtent dates to conflict with other circuits. they can do a lot more good if they work together. but before I get to crazy, i'll have to see the message boards for myself.

WE need to ask both BBB and AC to work with each other here!

Please ask them....lets not just complain but be part of the solution.

I sent both Chuck and Julie messages today. Please do the same.


Guys there are SO many tournament trails now...so much competition....that we just need to work together on these dates so the anglers can fish!

hold on. looks like there was a mistake in scheduling on the part of bbb. they didn't realize ac had a date already made for july 13th and need another week or so to reschedule. stand by for details.

The cancelled tournament from June 14th is now SEPTEMBER 7th on the Fox Chain, Illinois.

And..............they moved it from the original rescheduled date because it was ON TOP of Anglers Choice. Well. They scheduled it again ON TOP of Anglers Choice. Anglers Choice has a tournament on September 7th. I'm hoping this is a mistake again..:confused:

Looking at the FISHING CALENDARS on this site...Under the MIDWEST USA TOURNAMENTS..........the free dates for the Chain where there are NO TOURNAMENTS are:

July 26
August 2
August 30
August 31

Can someone call BBB and ask them to work around this for us??? We just want to fish.................

I swear you keep bitching about the dates but you are the one who said this date was ok ,and now its not make up your fuc**** mind cant keep u happy no matter what they do. JUST SHUT UP AND FISH

Bassman24.....I'm cool with your comments..except its not a true statement. I was never ok with that date.....Here is exactly what I wrote at this site..BBB and a few emails.

"Hey Julie. Is there any way you guys could just give each other a call and work out the make-up dates? Both of you have scheduled these dates on each-other's tourny dates. (ie. 8/16 and 7/13).

With AC's classic not being until the Spring...this gives them many more open dates to work with late in the season.

This whole thing is hurting us----the anglers...now we have to choose which circuit to fish, and that's not fair as we all just want to fish the chain tournaments.

Here are some alternate dates which seem to work. I'm sure Anglers Choice can also move to October.
6/28, 6/29, 7/19, 7/20, 7/26, 7/27, 8/2, 8/9, 8/10, 8/17, 8/23, 8/24, 9/6, 9/14

Please Reconsider......"



C'mon....many of the guys whom fish the chain fish it only for many reasons. My reason----well...I have kids, crazy weekends, ailing mom, and don't have a lot of time to prefish, and need to be back early evenings to take care of things.

The reason BBB changed the date again was to not schedule the same date as AC. And now they did it again. Why can't they just look at the tourny dates on the chain....there are only three organizations...it can't be that hard.

I can completely understand Bassman24's point----we should just Shut Up and Fish.......but for those whom are fishing all 3 circuits....or even 2 of them....we want to have the opportunity to fish them.

Also...This site has them listed in the Fishing Calendars ----so it isn't hard. :confused:

funny, I was there when they suggested the 7th before they let us out on saturday morning. they said does the 7th work for everyone here? afterall, we wouldn't want to step on anyones toes. no one said anything including myself since at 5:45am I didn't have my calender book handy with me. I assumed after a comment like that we where all good and i also assumed bbb checked to make sure ac didn't have a tournament that day as well. I guess i was wrong.

Well.....it doesn't look like Big Bucks Bass will change the date----ya know--that stinks. I freakin only can fish the chain tournaments---and now on that date my partner and I gotta fish just one of them! bs. :confused:
