Ok. I totally thought you were freakin' nutz with that crazy set-up yesterday!

So while we were into our 7th our fishing today...and only have 1 fish myself and 0 for my non-boater...I broke down! And put that stupid bait on my line.

I flipped just 3 TIMES and hooked into a 13 3/4" Largie....yea it didn't measure.....BUT I'M A BELIEVER MY FRIEND>

Well....maybe...I need to catch a keeper first :p

I have been called lazy at times, needed to make a quick bait change and put this strange combination together in Lancing Iowa on the Mississippi river and within 2 casts had a good fish. Tournament day, like always, went bad. We could not pull a keeper in our best areas until, "the Jimmie jig." I put this contraption together just like the day before and started catching bass. Within an hour I had 4 fish and not just keepers but good fish. The other 2 fish were on a swim jig. I have been using this jig combo for 3 years and it still works well. It just goes to show, if you have an idea, try it, dare to be different, go where no one else would go. If you you take advise from another guy, IT'S ALREADY BEEN DONE!!!
