There will be a Region 1 tournament May 3rd & 4th, 2008 - even if it turns out to be "NO WAKE" (Questions - Contact GARY SCHILD - 847-421-6146 - Region 1 tournament director)
If the tournament is a no wake tournament - 1 hour will be added to the tournament hours - each day.
The "Chain" is off-limits to members of Mutiny II - Sunday at mid-night (4/27/08) to "Safe-Light" Friday (5/2/08) - Friday is the "Offical Practice Day" - you must be off the water at 4:00PM. Alternates are allowed to fish on Friday - only, unless needed to fill in for a Team member.
There is a mandarory meeting Friday - 6:00PM at the "Port". All Team members must be present. Boat pairings will be made at this meeting. You will be paired as a "Boater" or Non-Boater based on our entries. You will have the same partner "Both" days of the tournament. Start and Finish times will be announced at the meeting. Rules will be reviewed. Ask questions if you aren't clear on something.
Each club takes care of it's own expenses. Non Boaters should help with our club Boaters gas expense. You will not be expected to pay expense money to the Boater you are paired with during the tournament. Please offer to share expenses with our club Team boaters.
Being a "Draw" format - Non-Boaters are allowed to run the trolling motors and fish their "Spot" - 50% of the day. You are not to run the main engine - the Boater will go to your area when it's your turn to determine where to go. Discuss this with your Boater or Non Boater so there isn't a problem.
You are fishing as a "Team" in this tournament. Based on your "Team" results you will earn an opportunity to move on to the "State" finals. The "State" finals will determine the 12 Man Team representing Illinois in the 2009 Divisional Tournament - which leads ultimately to the "All American".
