Got done with work early, finished chores early, decided to GO FISHIN! Wasn't sure where to go, maybe Deep? Maybe the Chain? I did need some redemption after last night of no bites! Got halfway to the Chain and turned down Grass Lk. Rd. to go to Loon! After a heads up from Mr. Crankbait, I went out there with, well a crankbait! Tried some spots he told me about, but the fish I did see seemed slightly molested.... They were just coming up and swirling on it, not taking it. Heard lots of gillies poppin in the pads, so fished a froggy and got some action. "Ran" to the other side of the lake, and flipped my jiggy under the colorful dock (zach will know) and got a 3lber, fished the next X brace, another 3lber, fished the shallowest X brace, got 1 close to 5! Missed her the 1st time too! Why do I not bring my camera?? :furious3: It would've been an ok day to have 1.... Got a mid 30's muskie as well... Fun few hours of fishing even though it was tough! Best 5 around 16lbs.

I'm not a pro at crankbaiting, but next time you're having follows, there are a few different things you can change to get picked up. down size, throw a crank with different wobble, and or change color. Some times this helps. but way to go ryan its a shame you didn't have a camera though.

Tried it man! Mann's, Storm, Bandit's and Cordells! Silver, white, bluegill, chartruese, blue, pink, purple, black... Those fish were harassed by some Mr. Crankbait guy before I could ever lay my hooks into them! Thanks for the tips though man. Just a tough bite I think.

Donkey dock- No dude, it was the colorful tag dock! The one to the north, I fished donkey and didn't get no bites?! You'd think with 3 nice fish on one dock, they'd be all over the few docks out there, but fished em all and only found one other with fish on it!.... BTW, fished West Loon on the way in as the sun was fallin, topwater, in the "topwater spot" (walkdogs will know :D) had two fish come up, but didn't take... :furious3: I think they were bigguns 2.... Til next time

very fun lake, wish I would'nt have been so blind and went and fished out there a bit more. Had great times out there, the times I was there. Did you have blowups or did they just roll on the bait?

Those fish were just rollin on the bait. They wouldn't take!
That's the dock! :) There's 4 cross braces and there was a fish on 3 out of 4. I want to go back out there soon, probably sometime this week.
