How much do you know about bass???

I have a 16 year old daughter that knows everything and asked me," how big can a bass get"? I took a stab at it and said " maybe 32 inches". She told me I was off by a lot and proved it with a very well known book that has facts about every living creature on the earth. IT HAS TO BE WRONG!! Take a guess and I will let you know soon what the book said.

Ok. A book called AUDUBON SOCIETY said, 3ft 2 inches or 38 inches. One of the world record bass was 32.5 inches. I thought this was a typo but saw it mentioned a few times. I think the writer was hanging out at one of our Weds. night tourneys!!
