Since the ice fishing has slowed down, I decided to take my kid to the Busse wwd. We make the trek from the sticks on Sun. morning. Got there at 10. The bucketheads had already set up camp in the wwd, so decided to move down salt creek a little ways. Found a nice open spot and told the kid this is the spot. Started out throwing a spinner, nothing doing. Switched to a one of Jimbo's black and purple jigs, a put on a chompers trailer. Not more than 10 minutes later this little guy grabbed it.

First ever Muskie!
Well, the kid started gettting cold so it was time to go. As we work our way back to the wwd, I notice most all the bucketheads are gone. I tell the kid I've got to try for a couple of minutes. After about 5 minutes, I haul in this guy.

Not a hawg, but one of the bigger ones I saw swimming around. Also caught on Jimbo's jig. The best part was seeing the looks on the faces of the bucketheads when we left.
