Ice Out?

looking forward to trying out the forest preserve lakes during ice out. im in dupage county wondering if anyone knows of any lakes that have recently thawed?

This is a brand new community board. Over the next few weeks there will be many more people joining.

We were at West Branch at the creek inlet and caught 2 bass fishing extremely slow with a 4" Power worm and a 1/16" weight on 8lb line. Both bass were around 13". Thats it this week!

went out for a walk with the dog at hidden lake on 53 and butterfield. ice has thawed there and saw a kid catch a bass about 15 feet out on a spinner bait. funny thing is that all of the other fpl's have ice on them still. i may go to hidden this weekend.
