Had the day off today, decided to go out and see what the local fish population was doin. Got in touch with Steve (atitagain) and he was able to make it out to my little bass fishin paradise. It was tough with the wind, couldn't fish most of the lake. While I was waiting for Steve to arrive, decided to fish a little to try and find out what these basses were doin. Third cast with a rattle trap yielded a three lber, so I figured the fishin would be HOT! After 20 minutes Steve was pullin in and I had lost 3 fish on the trap. So I pulled in to pick him up, and out we went. Well, it was real tough with the wind like I said, but once it died, GAME ON!

Finally started gettin on them while fightin the wind!

As you can see, the sun was starting to go down, which in turn meant the wind was dying. Mind you we started at 12:30, so it was around 4:00 before we started catching them good. That last hour was HOT!

Glad you could make it out Steve! That was some hot fishin! We found average water temp was I beleive 51'-53' with the warmest found being 57'. Not too bad considering it's November 5th! Get out to your local lakes/ponds a.s.a.p.!

It was a beautiful day! Thanks Ryan for showing my lil small bass!.....I'll get ya next time!:D Ryan had 3 bass over 3 lbs. Biggest we weighed at 4.5lbs. He ended up bending his hook closed(trying to dislodge it from 4.5 lber) and missed/ lost couple nice ones. All in all it was a great day to go fishing! I had a blast and thank you for inviting me!

Hey, I posted the pic of that smaller bass that was still close to a keeper because it was a cool pic! You still caught some dandies! Switch it up to flouro and you'll get some bigger bites:p
